Old Bikes – New Hangers

leave a comment »

The world is brimming with unsightly, re-purposed DIY projects that should stay hidden in closets. A smidgen of irony, then, that these clothes hangers by Oliver Staiano, a student in Nottingham Trent University’s Product Design program, belong anywhere but the closet. Fashioned from old bikes and some wood finishing, this trio has all sorts of personality and promise (extra nice touch: the hook for each hanger is made from a spoke). You can buy them (or get step-by-step instructions on how to make them yourself) at Co-oproduct.

Dig this!
